For Reviewers

Reviewers play a vital role in maintaining the quality, integrity, and scholarly standards of IJEDAL. Reviewers are expected to provide fair, objective, constructive, and timely evaluations of submitted manuscripts.

Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers are expected to:

  • Accept review assignments only within their area of expertise;

  • Complete reviews within the requested timeframe;

  • Maintain the confidentiality of all manuscripts and related materials;

  • Disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest;

  • Report suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, or other forms of research misconduct;

  • Provide constructive, evidence-based feedback that helps authors improve their work.

Reviewers are encouraged to evaluate manuscripts with regard to:

  • Originality and contribution to the field;

  • Relevance to the journal's scope;

  • Theoretical and methodological rigor;

  • Quality of data analysis and interpretation;

  • Clarity of presentation and organization;

  • Significance of findings;

  • Discussion and conclusions;

  • Quality and appropriateness of references.

Ethical Guidelines

Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts solely on their academic merit and should not be influenced by the authors' nationality, ethnicity, gender, institutional affiliation, religious beliefs, or political views.

Information obtained through the peer review process must remain confidential and may not be used for personal, professional, or financial advantage.

Reviewers should respect the intellectual independence of authors and provide professional, respectful, and constructive feedback at all times.
