Puplication Ethics

The International Journal of Educational Administration and Leadership: Theory and Practice (IJEDAL) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and follows the principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original, have not been published previously, and are not under consideration elsewhere. All authors must approve the submitted version of the manuscript. Any conflicts of interest, funding sources, and ethical approvals must be disclosed. Authors are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of their work and must promptly notify the Editor of any significant errors identified after submission or publication.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are expected to evaluate manuscripts fairly, objectively, and confidentially. They should disclose any potential conflicts of interest and review only manuscripts within their area of expertise. Information obtained through the peer review process must not be used for personal advantage.

Responsibilities of Editors

Editors evaluate manuscripts solely on their academic merit, without regard to the authors’ race, gender, nationality, religious beliefs, or political views. Editors and editorial staff maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and manage conflicts of interest in accordance with COPE guidelines.

Plagiarism Policy

IJEDAL employs plagiarism detection software, including iThenticate, to screen all submissions. Manuscripts containing plagiarism, self plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or other forms of research misconduct will be rejected.

Open Access Policy

IJEDAL is a fully open access journal. All articles are freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication without subscription or access fees.

Articles published in IJEDAL are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0), which permits downloading and sharing with appropriate attribution, provided that the work is not modified and is not used for commercial purposes.
